WE All BLEED THE SAME

Yesterday,  before I slept, as usual I listened to a few jams on 'My Favourite ' playlist.               For some reason,  I went all hip-hop, so there was some Hollyn (🙌🙌My favourite currently), Derek Minor, Capital Kings yaaaay 💃 (You should check out Don't Wanna Wake Up and All Good (ft Hollyn),  Citizen Way( famous for Bulletproof,  Kubamba Radio fans I'm sure y'all have heard this particular song a million times😜) Lecrae( check out I Will find you, ft Tori Kelly👌👌) Tauren Wells, Recapp, Eko Dydda, Andy Mineo, TobyMac, Flame... 😀😀             Yaaaaaaas my playlist is cool like that 😎 😎

At times it's easy to get lost in all the hype that comes with hip-hop, as a result, we may miss the words..
But yesterday,  as I listened to this jam "BLEED THE SAME " by Mandisa ft TobyMac,  I couldn't help but think about my incredible country,  Kenya.  The words!  The words in this song are exactly what we need as a country, especially at this point in time.
This song has been on my playlist for close to 3 months now and honestly I've never felt it's power like I did yester-night, I believe God intended that I listen for such a time as this!! And that I get to share it with others.

My heart breaks for the families who've lost innocent loved ones, because someone else decided to be unruly or careless 😢 😢.
My heart breaks for the people who've helplessly watched their business premises being looted and engulfed by flames 😢 😢
My heart breaks for the students who've had to face the consequences of a political upheaval that they didn't participate in creating 😢 😢
My heart breaks for the patients who've not been able to receive the medical attention they deserve,  the mothers who've lost their lives while ushering in new lives into the world,  because there was no one to ensure a safe delivery or attend to the complications that arise during birth  😢 😢

There's so much going on,  but as Kenyans,  we should not let all that's happening divide us. We are more beautiful when we come together.  We all bleed the same.
I pray that as we read these words,  that you'll realize how powerful unity is and that we all need to fiercely protect the Peace that we've had a taste of for decades.

Bleed The Same

We all bleed the same
We're more beautiful when we come together
We all bleed the same
So tell me why, tell me why
We're divided

Woke up today
Another headline
Another innocent life is taken
In the name of hatred
So hard to take (hey!)
And if we think that it's all good
Then we're mistaken
'Cause my heart is breaking
(Tell em' Dis)

Are you left?
Are you right?
Pointing fingers, taking sides
When are we gonna realize?

We all bleed the same
We're more beautiful when we come together
We all bleed the same
So tell me why, tell me why
We're divided
If we're gonna fight
Let's fight for each other
If we're gonna shout
Let love be the cry
We all bleed the same
So tell me why, tell me why
We're divided

Tell me, who are we
To judge someone
By the kind of clothes they're wearing
Or the color of their skin?

Are you black? (black)
Are you white? (white)
Aren't we all the same inside? (the same inside)
Father, open our eyes to see!

We all bleed the same (we all bleed the same)
We're more beautiful when we come together
We all bleed the same (we all bleed the same)
So tell me why, tell me why
We're divided
If we're gonna fight
Let's fight for each other (fight for each other!)
If we're gonna shout
Let love be the cry (be the cry!)
We all bleed the same (we all bleed the same)
So tell me why, tell me why
We're divided

Only love can drive out all the darkness
What are we fighting for?
We were made to carry one another
We were made for more, said...
Only love can drive out all the darkness
What are we fighting for?
We were made to carry one another
We were made for more!

We all bleed the same (we all bleed the same)
We're more beautiful when we come together...
Let's stand united!
We all bleed the same (we all bleed the same)
So tell me why, tell me why
We're divided
If we're gonna fight
Let's fight for each other (fight for each other!)
If we're gonna shout
Let love be the cry (be the cry!)
We all bleed the same (we all bleed the same)
Bleed the same
Let's stand united (let's stand united)
Let's stand united!

So Father God, I pray
That our families will come together right now
And seek your face
You will forgive our sins
And You will heal our incredible land
In the name of the only Savior, Jesus Christ
Amen

My fellow Kenyans, we all  bleed the same
despite our different ethnic groups or backgrounds. Let's strive to love rather than hurt one another. That's the only sure to ensure that peace, love and unity dwells richly amongst us.

Wow my dear, this story is amazing so touching coming out to talk about it,it is kinder hard,I got sensitivity skin too,for the record medications is expensive and that why I keep on asking myself what about the common person how can not afford it,are there any remedies that can supplement???but through out the years one thing I have learned about my skin is about what we eat, fruits and vegetables are important.
