CLEAR THE STAGE

Exquisite décor,  resounding instrumentals, fiery team of sassy ladies and gentlemen who posses such vehement  melodious voices, leading the congregation in topnotch praise and worship songs... Such is the picturesque any time we happen to talk about worship. However, Worship is more than a song. It's a lifestyle. It requires us to lay our lives down in total surrender. Where our heart is, is exactly where we offer our worship. If we value our careers, friends, husbands, wives, children etc... Above God! Then we are definitely worshipping those things. Anything we value more than God becomes our idol. I don't know what you value the most! 
We can sing all we want to and still get it wrong coz worship is more than a song.
I understand that it's always a battle for us to keep God on the Throne He so rightfully deserves in our lives. But do we try hard enough to keep Him on the Throne? (Even after we knowingly or unknowingly dethrone Him) Or do we comfortably replace Him with what/whom we feel deserves to be on that Throne?
Probably it's time we get to Clear The Stage ;

Clear the stage and set the sound and lights ablaze 
If that's the measure you must take to crush the idols 
Jerk the pews and all the decorations, too Until the congregation's few, 
then have revival

We must not worship something that's not even worth it 
Clear the stage, make some space for the one who deserves it
