IN HIS TIME; He Makes All Things Beautiful ♥

Often times we say that God's time is the best.
That's undoubtedly true.
But do we really believe in it?
If we do, do we consider His timing perfect even when it seems like He delayed?
If you are like me, when you pray for something and it happens almost immediately, you get all excited and believe that it was God's time.
On the other hand, if you pray and it takes longer to see tangible results, you don't automatically tell yourself that maybe it's not His perfect time.. For a moment you feel like you didn't pray enough, or you didn't pray well. Right?
For your mind and heart to settle it takes a whole lot of activating the Blind Faith gear and believing that, yes you prayed and God heard you but it is possible that it wasn't His perfect time to grant you the desires of your heart... And isn't it great, when He's four days late, He's still on time
We are all familiar with the Luke 15 : 11 -32 story of the prodigal son he went to his father, demanded that he gets his share and off he went to a new land. There, he squandered his wealth, became the pigs' feeding mate... Then finally decided to make his way back home shyly.. Frustrated, guilty, ashamed and feeling sorry for himself... Like pets (🐱 🐶 ) do when they mess up.. they come to you shyly with tail in between their hind limbs, looking all apologetic 😁
At the back of his mind, the father knew that at some point, he'll have to grant his sons their inheritance.
If we are to compare it to today's life, probably the boy would have got his share after completing campus and he's into his career, may or may not be having a wife and kids....
But our guy here, let's assume, was still in high school.. Adolescence kicks in and he's feeling all bossy, yeye ndio kusema 😂 Goes to his papa and starts ranting,
Him : Mzae, tuongee kama wanaume. I want my share today, not tomorrow.
Father : My son, I think you still need to learn a few things about managing wealth before I can give you your share.
Him : But I feel like a man already.. Niko na ka-goatee 😂😂
Father : But maturity isn't about the physical.. You have to show responsibility for you to be considered a man
Him : If you're not going to give me my share, I'm going to do something crazy.. Hata hamnipendi 😢 (see manipulation)
Father : Okay son. I will give you everything that I had purposed to be a part of your inheritance.
..... And the little guy took off... We know how it goes on and how it ends.
This week, I have been reading and trying to understand Solomon's word of wisdom that was inspired by God... We all love it
Ecclesiastes 3: 11 ~ He has made everything beautiful in its time.
We may feel validated to pray for and about something.
But are we sure that we have the capacity to handle with care what we pray for?
I believe when God is about to entrust something unto us, He is interested in how we handle it once we receive.. Remember, Christians are only but stewards.. So we will all give an account of how we took care of what God entrusted unto us.
Having a job is good 👌
But if you get that job, will you be a steward of your boss's property/vision ? Will you work wholeheartedly as if unto God and not man?
Colossians 3:23‭-‬24 ~ Whatever you do, work heartily, as for the Lord and not for men, knowing that from the Lord you will receive the inheritance as your reward. You are serving the Lord Christ.
Will you be the one who invested his talents or the one who hid it underground? Mathew 25 :14- 30
Having a spouse is great 😘
But will you seek to glorify God in and through your marriage?
Are you willing to die to the selfish desires on a daily basis?
Are you ready to put in the work for the marriage to work?
Will you be willing to deal with the baggage you bring into union?
Having kids is Awesome 😍 (one of the words that I overuse)
But are you willing to bring them up in the ways of the Lord?
Will you discipline them in love?
Are you willing to sacrifice time to be with them? Cultivate friendship with them?
There are more desires that we present to God, these are just but a few.
If we receive blessings from God while our hearts' conditions are a mess, we are most likely to mess with what He has entrusted to us.
Like the prodigal son did.
I am of the opinion that we should pray to God not only to grant us our desires, but to change our hearts so that we will receive what He has prepared for us and that we will be good stewards of it.
And above all, that He will make all things Beautiful in His Time 😍😍
