Living For You (God)

Who or what do we really live for?
Ourselves ? Our folks ? Our Significant Other? The kids? A well paying job ?  A Supreme Being?
The latter ought to be the most valid answer. However, its not always the case.
Our lives -though rightfully ours- do not belong to us. Not even a single minute of it.
We are called to live lives beyond ourselves. And for Christians, we are called to live lives worthy of the Gospel.. This one needs a bold step of Faith.
It requires us to come out of our comfort zones, our sinful cycles/habitual sins, our selfish desires... Something that's never easy.. Trust me... But it can be done. And it's more rewarding than if we just lived for us.
Living for God is more like laying down our lives for Him, realizing and releasing the needs and privileges that we think we rightfully deserve, surrendering them to Him and finally allowing Him to have His FULL WAY IN US.... That God may glorify Himself in us and through us.
Being a Wednesday we're going way back to May 2016 when  Adawnage graced our airwaves with I Live For You .... When they started out, they took the Music Industry by storm. Young, energetic and extra psyched up and charged for Christ. Also, I love how they do pull out some lingala rhythms so nicely and effortlessly.
I hope this song blesses you and stirs up in us an undeniable zeal for Christ like never before. A strong desire to please Him above all else, to honour Him with our lives. Perhaps, You have lived to please yourself for the longest time, but today is a new day! New Grace! New mercies!  New opportunity to live for Him! You're not too late for it!
Live for Him and shine while at it 💫💫

    1. It's essentially the reason For created us.
To live for Him. And it's the only way we can find meaning in life.
